Why should I join a Growth Group?
1. Since the start of the Christian Church, Christians have gathered in large groups and in small groups for discipleship, fellowship, worship, evangelism and ministry. (Acts 2:46-47) Growth Groups “are” church!
2. God created us to be in relationships- with Him and with others. (Gen. 2:18)
For the most part, relationships are the biggest influencer in people’s spiritual growth.
3. We need people because life is tough. (Eccles. 4:9-12) Growth Groups provide a level of care and community that can’t be reached in our weekly worship services.
4. Fellowship with other believers is part of God’s plan for discipleship (Acts 2:41-42) Growth Groups open the door for life-on-life discipleship and for you to become a spiritual mentor in the lives of the people in your group.
5. You literally cannot do church or be who God wants you to be when you are alone! There are 59 commands that involve “one another”
