Pastor Curtis asked me A staff member invited me to join his/her team I heard an announcement about needing volunteers I wanted to meet more people in the church I wanted to use my talents to serve the church I felt like I needed to contribute to the church

3. How did you get started as a volunteer? *

I asked a staff member about GIVING BACK and he/she helped me get started Another volunteer invited me to show up and try it out I signed up on the church website I signed up on a NEXT STEPS card

7. What do you think prevents people from volunteering at thePorch? *

They’re too busy with work, family, and other obligations They don’t know there’s a need for more people to GIVE BACK They’re not sure how to get started They don’t want to volunteer They think if they sign up, they’re committing to GIVE BACK for a long time
